Kings College study indicates increased likelihood of cannabis dependency in adolescence
A recent study carried out by Kings College London has underlined the negative effects of cannabis use – often considered a “harmless” drug – particularly amongst young people.
The research paper can be found here, and a more user-friendly summary on the Narconon blog here.
According to the survey, parents do have a significant influence on their children when it comes to taking drugs. Communicating in a friendly calm way about the dangers of drugs really will help young people come to the right decision.
“Cannabis use will affect your memory, your coordination, your ability to focus, and how you make decisions. The best way to maintain control and make decisions is to be clear-headed and not under the influence of Cannabis.”
